Problem 1:
Nowadays, face mask has become a necessary product on our shopping list, while it was used only by a certain group of people, especially health care staff. On the other hand, In today’s world, many people from around the world are suffering from various respiratory disorders caused by air pollution, sinusitis, infections, and COVID-19. Most people are not satisfied with available face masks on the market (Jiang et al., 2016; Gloster et al., 2020).

Timeline
About 7.7 million people died of air pollution annually. Since air pollution accounts for climate change, and air pollution causes the annual death of about 7million cases annually worldwide, based on the WHO report.
About 545 million people in the world had a chronic respiratory disease.
More than 514 million cases of Coronavirus and above 6 million deaths of covid 19 worldwide.
These discarded masks, primarily made of plastic-based materials such as polypropylene, take years, if not decades, to break down, contributing to long-term environmental damage.
Problem 2:
The accumulation of used face masks on the street harms our environment. Discarded face masks littering our streets harm the environment by contributing to plastic pollution, as most are made from non-biodegradable materials like polypropylene. This litter poses significant risks to wildlife.
This research is analytical and descriptive; Which was examined by field observations, study of library documents and comparison of existing samples and a questionnaire to achieve a successful sample. At first step, the design process of the face mask entitled aroma mask in this study will be done through applying the questionnaire. Then, the design stage includes the needs identification and the concept development. Finally, this design process of a face mask in this study will be done through applying the persuasive and sustainable design approach.
Research & Planning
Conducted market research to identify existing scheduling challenges and user preferences. Defined target audience segments and outlined key features based on user needs and market trends.
Design & Prototyping
Collaborated with designers to create intuitive user interfaces and interactive prototypes. Iteratively refined designs based on user feedback to enhance usability and visual appeal.
Implementation
Leveraged agile development methodologies to build the scheduling app from the ground up. Prioritized feature development based on user feedback and technical feasibility. Implemented AI algorithms to analyze user behavior and optimize scheduling recommendations.

This model was tested after several steps and were modified for several times in order to reach the final design.

Future clinical research should focus on the potential function of the Aroma Mask on people suffering from such disease. It should be mentioned that this project is in the registration stage and all its rights are reserved. The design is in the process of being patented for construction. Further clinical testing is ideally required both in static and dynamic situations. This also applies to commercially available disposable protective face masks. Last but not least, virological testing is essential before application in real-life situations.
